Son of Casey, 1958 and 1959

Here are two very similar photos taken by the same photographer, one in September 1958 and the other a year later. Good old Casey Jr. is his usual smiling self, and why wouldn't he be? He's got a great job! And he looks good doing it, with the bright, cheerful colors and whimsical decorations. The Skyway Chalet looks appropriately alpine with a hillside full of conifers.

One year later, we see Casey Jr. again. Unfortunately, it was overcast, so this photo feels rather gloomy compared to the first one. Never mind, Casey is still glad to see us! I've always like the way his "hat" contains the headlight.

Fun Casey Jr. Photos! Thufer is right, wheres the "painted on smile"? Maybe since it was overcast they took it off....

Casey's smile went away because people are sometimes mean. Whenever that happens, Casey is sad, and his smile goes away. And also a fairy dies.

So cute, and so right, he has a great job hehe

The Chalet looks so different - so much closer! - without the forest around it, but it's neat either way.

I remember Gramps had aluminum cups the same colors as the Skyway buckets. They remind me of very big shakers or something to match his cups :)

Chiana, i still have those gorgeous metal tumblers, and a pretty red pitcher, too! :)

poor Casey didnt like the June Gloom either. on our second trip we had it the entire week, making my pics not so pretty compared to our first and third visits. sad to hear about the fairies, tho :(

this is a great pair, Major, proving that a sunny day at Disneyland is the best kind!
