Frontierland Trees
I know this is kind of a lame (undated) photo, considering that the Conestoga Wagon is mostly hidden by trees. But I still like it! I don't remember seeing the wagon painted blue in other photos. Were there two wagons? In some images the wagon says "Oregon or Bust", and in others it reads "Westward Ho", but maybe it's just two sides of the same wagon.
If you look to the upper right you can just make out the bear that would run around much like the rhinos in the Jungle Cruise. You don't see too many photos of him!

That is a phenominal shot - because of the bear! Very few pictures of him...
I have the audio that played behind him, email me if you'd like a copy.
Major- it appears this wagon reads Westward Ho. The wagons were themed to tie into the Fess Parker film Westward Ho the Wagons. The film was released in 1956. By the way it is a great image and a very unusual one.
I agree it is a great image! Tangaroa, can you tell us if that bear ran around a rock or was it the one on Tom Sawyer's Island across from the Friendly Indian Village? OR is it one and the same bear just relocated at a later date? Just wondering...
