How Not To Take a Photo

Today's pictures look like the ones that I typically take. Something about that little bit of a delay inherent in non-SLR digital cameras. Yeah, that's it.

Just missed it! It's amazing how a huge elephant can hide so well in the deep jungle.

That Monorail is moving pretty fast, but our photographer pushed the button too soon. By the time he wound the film to the next frame, it was too late.

If the cabin wasn't on fire, you'd hardly know it was there.

See how I turned these crummy photos into a whole post?

Hey, in that second photo, we get to see half of the Motor Boat Cruise signage. Who knew that the Motor Boat waterway was once referred to as the Fantasyland River? I didn't! This might sound weird, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few more shots like this.

"Fantasyland River"? I didn't know either.

That's some scruffy landscapin' 'round the flamin' shack.

And an elephant playing peek-a-boo... well, you got 'em, you might as well use 'em eh? ;)

'night Tokyo! ;D

hey, they arent so bad...really

it is really sad, tho, that our friend missed Monorail Blue. there arent THAT many pictures of it, and this would have been sooo nice with the blue and white umbrellas :)

"Fantasyland River" Does Jason at Disneyland Nomenclature know about this? LOL!

I have so many photos just like these, that monorail shot is typical of what happens to me and by the time the digital camera is ready for the next shot, its gone!

Pictures only a botanist could love.

This was obviously Major's day to lower expectations. His pictures were getting too good.

Actually, and I am being serious now, they do have something to offer as the "Fantisyland River" points out.

I just spent 45 minutes on eBay pawing through old photos with a lot of Disneyland stuff, and 30% of it was junk up front (very soft focus, camera seriously out of level, doofus crossing field of vision) To add insult to injury, were priced at $6 each and never got bigger than a postage stamp to keep people from "stealing" them.

So when Major says "I've got some real stinkers today", they never turn out to be that bad at all... There's some real junk out there.

Well I'm glad you guys seemed to like these, at least up to a point! I didn't even notice the "Fantasyland River" sign, guess I was in too much of a hurry to post something.

Y'know that peeping pachyderm reminds me of that great Disney Goofy cartoon. Remember the one? Where Geef and a tiger are hiding around this big old boulder on the savanna, then it stands up. If it wasn't for that bit of ear you might think that was faux rockwork in that pic.

Connie, he does that to me too. So that's why when peeps tell me I'm cracked, I just blame it all on Major Pepperidge.
