The Columbia, April 1966

Just a couple of Columbia pix for you today...

This one is kind of nice, with the Dance Circle in the foreground. It should have been taken with a stereo camera! The river looks great too, hard to believe that this is a theme park creation.

And now for a profile; you can appreciate some of the ship's complex carpentry in this picture. At least I assume it is carpentry... maybe most of it is cast fiberglass.

The first image is just too beautiful. Have you been holding the good stuff back on us Major??

I think I will Photoshop out the sitter on the right and use it as a desk top. Thanks!

Katella Gate, nope, I haven't been holding out anything. Well, maybe *some* things, which I save for special occasions. Does that mean you haven't been liking the other posts recently? ;-)

I like that first picture too - very Adventure-like,Pocahontas and all that. I see a ship landing at an Indian village with excitement to come. The New World.
