Guests could see all manner of critters along the banks of the Rivers of America... elk, mountain lions, deer, and best of all, moose. Or mooses? Like this pair, who must be pets of the nearby Friendly Indians (structures visible to our left) - because they looks mighty tasty. Ever had a mooseburger?
Those antlers make swell decorations too - a lesson I learned from Disneyland.
Elsewhere, a solitary moose has eaten some funny plants, and now he is standing, staring off into space. "The colors, man! THE COLORS!". Soon he will become aware of how insignificant he is in the scheme of the Universe, and it will blow his mind. Take a nap, Mr. Moose, you'll feel better.

In that first pic, I think the moose on the left is watching that moose on the right, pull a rabbit out of his hat.
TokyoMagic!, "nothin up my sleeve, presto!" You haven't lived until you've looked out your kitchen window on a frosty morn, and seen a moose looking back at you. Don't try to stare them down though, or they will poop on your outdoor furniture. Meese are everywhere in Montana, and have been known to vote in elections, so if you are running for office, make sure you leave donuts on the back porch. Thanks Major.

Jonathan, I have only seen real meese from a distance (while fishing in Canada). They don’t like me I guess. Bears do, though, so that’s something. In some countries, pooping on outdoor furniture is a sign of respect, I’m pretty sure.

Gnometrek, it’s amazing how those Bullwinkle/Fractured Fairy Tales cartoons work for kids and adults. Even as a child I was charmed by the very limited animation. Sometimes a character would just vanish for a few frames. Reshoots cost money!

Nanook, I have never seen “That Darn Cat”, though I know of it. I’m more of a “Cat From Outer Space” person.
That Darn Cat had an amazing cast.
Hayley Mills, Dean Jones, Grayson Hall, Roddy McDowall, Neville Brand,William Demarest, Elsa Lanchester, Frank Gorshin, Ed Wynn, a buncha Siamese cats, the works. I remember seeing it on TV as a kid; it must have been on “The Wonderful World of Disney” or something. I saw it again just a few years ago and I thought it really held up.
I've seen a lot of cat movies in my day. Not only "That Darn Cat!" and "The Cat From Outer Space", but "The Aristocats", "What's New Pussycat?" and "Cat Ballou" too!
Melissa, I love "That Darn Cat!" and saw it when it came out in the theater in 1965. It's still a fun movie and has a great cast as you said. I like the opening song with the cat roaming through the neighborhood and town at night.
Came for "moose and squirrel" references. Not leaving disappointed.
