Two From July 1969
Here's a nice pair of photos from July, 1969. Neil Armstrong wished he was at Disneyland, but his mom made him go to the Moon instead. Stupid Moon! I love this afternoon shot from Fantasyland, a mom and her stylish daughter pose, surrounded by all kinds of fun stuff. Dumbi! The Pirate Ship (complete with unfurled sails)! Skyway gondolas! The Casey Jr. station! And even a bit of the Matterhorn. It looks like it was a great day to be at the park (sorry, Neil).

Major-
Hubba, hubba to the young lady parading around in her plaid, sleeveless shortalls-!
Thanks, Major.
A riot of Disneyland color! The stylish daughter looks like she's picking up an alien transmission inside her head. She should've wore her tinfoil hat! There's a lot of red Skyway buckets gliding overhead. I bet the aliens are responsible for that too. It's a toss-up for who gets the Fashion Award here: The lady in the white, yellow, and orange floral(?) pants, in front of the ticket booth. Or the lady next to her with the psychedelic flowery dress.
That guy does indeed look like Ernest Borgnine; not so much in the face (I zoomed in), but the body shape and the clothes. I like that girl's dark blue hat with the bright red ostrich plume; very distinctive! 1969 must have been the year for women to wear yellow, white, and orange floral clothing; there's another one to the right of Mom.
More iconic Disneyland photos! Thanks, Major.
