Snoozles™

I have a pair of "not that bad" Snoozles for you today, starting with this 1973 photo of a young woman posing in front of It's a Small World, sponsored by the Bonk of America. BONK. I'm struggling to think of anything to say about this just-fine picture!

This next one was mixed in with a bunch of random slides - I'm proud to say that a dork like me immediately recognized it as a photo of the Columbia sailing ship! There were no other Disneyland slides in the box, which makes me suspect that the seller had picked out the obvious examples and sold them separately. I forgive him.

Will I return from my trip to Utah today? WHO KNOWS!

Major-
That unusual angle of the Columbia rigging has produced a most-delightful image. Bravo.

Thanks, Major.

Here are some things to say about this just-fine picture (you may use them free of charge): The lighting and color are great! It's only slightly out of focus. The foreground lady's dress looks nice, and colorful. The finials on the facade of iasw look bright and shiny. Also, the signmakers at Disney spelled "Bonk of America" wrong.

Wow. This is good photo! Artsy! Plus perfect color and sharply focused. Looks like one of the pictures that the Mysterious Benefactor shares with us. It's got 'sailing ship' written all over it. It also has "gorillasdontblog.blogspot.com written on it. I wonder who that is? Funny name. I have no idea how they braided that foreground rope to make it look like that. I like how the folds look in the furled sail.

I see others (Hi, Nanook) notice how nice the Columbia photo looks.

Major, I think your Snooze-O-Meter needs to be recalibrated. ;-) Thanks for the photos.

Major, I'm certain the Columbia shot was taken by Mr. Worm - whom you introduced us to IN THIS POST on 8/3/25.

Travel safely, Major. We're looking forward to hearing from you, soon.
