A Pair From April, 1962
Sometimes, a lot of slides might consist of 20 or so individual images. Today's lot only had two slides - but they are pretty nice! From April 1962, like I said in the subject line.
Two boys are already hungry, and popcorn will be just the thing to satisfy their appetites (for about 20 minutes). Grandma will pay, she has a bunch of "Standing Liberty" quarters in her purse that she has been saving since 1930. Genuine silver! Two "NASA guy" employees (you can see their embroidered patches) are sitting in the shade to the left, maybe they only had five more minutes on their break before they had to high-tail it back to the Autopia (making "whoo-whoo" noises like Curley from The Three Stooges).
Next, it's dad (holding mom's massive purse, the ultimate humiliation) and the boys beside the Submarine lagoon. The younger boy is stuffing his face again, I think he's eating cigarettes. Dad also clutches a 1961 souvenir guidebook, I guess they were still using up the old stock from last year. I'll bet the family had a great day!

Major-
Toasty Roasty looks quite dashing in his outfit as seen on this popcorn wagon.
"... it's dad holding mom's massive purse, the ultimate humiliation..."
I should say - considering the purse doesn't even appear to be matching his belt-! (I can only imagine the fashion faux pas caused by the mis-match between the purse and his shoes-!)
Thanks, Major.
Nice vintage photo! Gramma is dressed stylishly, and has a pleasant smile. The Tosty Rosty clown is doing 183 rpm! (I looked up "Tosty Rosty" and this is how it's spelled, no "a"... according to Google.)
That's an odd-looking stripe on the one kid's crew cut head. I suppose it's just how the light is reflecting off his noggin... or maybe he got bombed by a passing bird.
Wow, the Skate looks close enough to touch! And yes, I do believe li'l bro is eating cigarettes. Maybe they're menthol flavored? Dad looks like a friendly sort. We can see a bit of the Matterhorn, but no Bobsleds. And we can see Fantasyland Screechy.
Wish there were more pics in this batch, they look good! Thanks, Major.
@ JB-
Yes, indeed... there's "documentation" all over the internet creating nothing but confusion as to both the spelling and the order of the words: Toasty Roasty... Roasty Toasty... Roasty-Toasty... Tosty Rosty. There only seems to be agreement the original spelling lacked the 'a' in both words. And when the "A's" were added remains a mystery; along with the order seeming to shift over time.
A 1985 catalog (their 100th anniversary) describes him as the "Roasty-Toasty" Man perpetually turning his glass tumbler filled with popcorn. [This description contains a hyphen, just for giggles].
