Leftuggies

It's time for another serving of warmed-over "leftuggies"!

On a cloudy day, Skull Rock looked even more dark and menacing than usual. Even the waterfalls look as if they had ink poured into them.

I always assumed that the Casey Junior trains were all identical, but as you can see here, the "dragon car" in the foreground is blue with pink decorations, while the one in the distance is pink with blue decorations. Alert the media!

Trader Sam has gone through some changes over the years; as a kid I couldn't help wishing I could buy one of those shrunken heads ("Two of his for one of yours"). Now Sam has opened a successful bar over at the Disneyland Hotel.

Just as with Nature's Wonderland, you can never have too much of Skull Rock. Thanks, major.

Neat group of pics. Great shot of Trader Sam! I like the aqua paint on the walkway to one side of Skull Rock - neat perspective. And the style conscious may note that a Casey Jr car is just the thing to be seen in when sporting that white hat with tall blazing red feather. :)

Lots to see in the Skull Rock pic. Love the striped poles of the Fanatsyland Station.

There are two dragon cars per train and I've seen pics of those colors reversed on the same train. I've also seen pics where the colors are identical on the same train, but it's always of the blue and pink combbination.

Nanook and TokyoMagic!, I have an awful lot of "same ol' same ol'" pictures of Skull Rock.... but I still love it.

Chiana, I think Trader Sam has changed a number of times over the years, it would be interesting to compare old photos. And that aqua paint fooled me for a second..."What's that water doing there?".

K. Martinez, those striped poles are so "Candyland"! You clearly know a lot more about Casey Jr. than I do... I'll have to pay more attention the next time I'm there.
