Bad Photos, November 1958

What's an ordinary boy blogger to do when faced with a bunch of boring slides? Well, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, am I right?? That analogy might not really work here, since I'm not making anything sweeter or more palatable, I'm just posting boring pictures.

ANYWAY, see what I mean? I guess the photographer was aiming at the little mill seen from the Storybook Land canal, but it's way in the distance, and blurry to boot. Yawn.

There's so much to look at while aboard the canal boats, so how does one manage to get a picture of "nothing in particular"?

Finally, over at the Rivers of America, we get the Columbia. It's really not a bad picture, but still kind of boring. You know it's true!

Major-

I'm uncertain about pictures 2 & 3, but as for picture 1 - I think we can go with Bad Hair

And, I'm sorry - although not exactly postcard-worthy, the second image gives both Storybook Land & Disneyland a new and wonderful perspective. That's gotta be worth something-!

Thanks, Major, for the 'bad' photos.

A picture of "nothing in particular" while riding in a canal boat going "nowhere in particular." Major...great "Wind In The Willows" reference with Toad Hall looming off in the distance!

I was thinking the same thing. Plus I'm hungry. I'm going to go get breakfast.

The second image is pretty good. I don't think I've seen the roof of the Skyway Chalet from that angle before. And then there's Toad Hall. My mind knows and imagines that beyond that ridge of Alpine-ish trees in the backdrop lies the Living Desert where Old Unfaithful blows. Thanks, Major.

Also, both of those ladies in the fist picture look kind of like my mother used to look.

Thank you, Major.
