Autopia & Monorail, July 1961
Well, homies, I may be relaxing by a beautiful lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains, but that doesn't mean that I have forgotten about you. Here are two nice Tomorrowland views...
This shot is blurry, but it's still worth a look. That line for the Subs is already long, and the blue Monorail is about to get underway. You can just see the red and yellow checked awning of Fantasyland Station in the distance.

quite a busy day!
we always ride Autopia when we visit but only tried the WDW version a few visits ago, and i have no idea why....weirdos, i guess!
loving Monorail Blue very much, blurry or not! i have never before noticed that red light down below the pilot's cockpit
and what is that we see in pic #1 thru the trees to the right of Mom?
I think the slide was scanned backwards - the steering wheels were actually on the left, just like full-sized American cars. The Autopia and Submarine Voyage were also famous for their backward-painted signs. I'm surprised that fact doesn't make it into more books about the Park.
Chuck, as you can see, the "EXIT" sign reads correctly... I can't explain why that steering wheel is on the right at all.
