@ Sue-
Thank you for generously-sharing with us your dads incredible photographic talents. I feel safe in saying his body of work will outlive us all - continuing to bring joy to those who discover it here and elsewhere.

Thanks to The Major for providing a platform for Lou's images.

So sad.

I hesitate to leave any comment at all; the title of this post, and the pictures say it all. But there is the need to show respect and gratitude for our friend, Lou. And to comfort our friend, Sue.

We all knew this day would come soon enough, but the grief is still there. I went through the same thing when my mom passed, two years ago. And we have the knowledge that Lou Perry lived a long and fullfilling life. And his, as yet, unpublished photos will continue to be a part of GDB for (probably) years to come; thanks to Sue.

The photo with the "hidden Mickey" in the clouds is especially apt and touching.

Sue, I know it is said often, but the hurt does get better over time.

Thank you, Sue and Major. And thank you very much,
Lou Perry.
