What is it? September 1963

Here's a fairly mundane (and blurry!) 1963 photo overlooking part of the Sub lagoon and part of the Fantasyland Autopia. My questions is... what is that building that is under construction to the right? I'm not even entirely sure if it is on Disney property.

Take a look at this photo from 1966; "It's a Small World" is in place now, but behind it is that same building, now gleaming white. The roundhouse is to the extreme right. I looked on Google Maps to see if I could figure out where the building was, but just wasn't sure.

Not sure what it is either, but it's certainly been replaced by the TDA tucked into the corner touching Ball Rd and I-5.

Have a look at the aerial photos assembled by Daveland, particularly the one from 1983 near the bottom.

Hmmm...Is it the Global Van Lines HQ?

Jim is right, it's the Global Van Lines building which sat where the Team Disney building sits today.

It's Global Van Lines HQ, now replaced by the Dr. Seuss's Melted, Battered, Butter Building for TDA.

Wow, you guy are good! Thanks for the link to Daveland's photo too, that was helpful!

...You forgot the fine print on the back of the package: "Made with imitation butter."

Yep, Global Van lines. Property bought by Disney in the early 1990s, building was razed, and replaced with the TDA building, opened in 1995.

And another vote for Global from me. Guaranteed. That was the first sign that we had arrived at Disneyland seeing that building as we left the Santa Ana Freeway.
