And just because it's from the same lot, here's a shot of Frontierland. I know, not too exciting, although I always like it when you can spot the striped tent from Holidayland peeking up in the distance.
This blog has nothing to do with gorillas (though I love 'em)...fellow bloggers have inspired me to share vintage images of Disneyland from my personal collection. But don't be surprised if you see something from a World's Fair, Knott's Berry Farm, or someplace else that is cool!

Autopia Junior, August 1958
Today's offering features this great shot (in spite of the soft focus) of the Junior Autopia, from August 1958. This attraction would only be around a few weeks more before it closed (on September 15), eventually being replaced by the Fantasyland Autopia. For the sake of comparison, take a look at this photo from back when it was still pretty new! Notice the arched sign for the Fantasyland Viewliner station in the background.

And just because it's from the same lot, here's a shot of Frontierland. I know, not too exciting, although I always like it when you can spot the striped tent from Holidayland peeking up in the distance.

U know... anything Viewliner makes my day.
