When you walk from land to land it's those DOORWAYS and even entrances, just like this one, that seem to sparkle with the pixie dust. I know I've seen several pictures of various doorways here and they always take me to the days when I dreamed about living inside a tree (kind of Wind and the Willows like)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-80221453720328826252010-01-01T15:43:25.429-08:002010-01-01T15:43:25.429-08:00Yay! I tend to like Epson scanners as well, personally.

I scan my slides at 2400 dpi, which results in a file that is roughly 20 megabytes per picture. Photoshop is basically a necessity for color correction and cleanup, but perhaps a less expensive alternative could work as well (maybe even "Photoshop Elements").Major Pepperidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843598326995116014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-82551606316793636102010-01-01T13:54:53.316-08:002010-01-01T13:54:53.316-08:00Thanks for another great year, Major. I’ve been following the blog for awhile and really appreciate all your time and hard work.

I’ve asked you this before, but I forgot your answer. Do you use a scanner to pull these images from slides? If so, would you mind telling me what scanner you use and what resolution to scan at?

Thanks again!BostonMousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10539054418355523956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-55636501779066302952010-01-01T11:46:57.200-08:002010-01-01T11:46:57.200-08:00Tomorrowland of 1957 looks a lot more inviting and...Tomorrowland of 1957 looks a lot more inviting and friendlier than the version we have today with that piece of "big kinetic chunk of space junk" at the front.
