Lou ...Nanook, Elton John loves geometrical shapes!

Lou and Sue, trust me, I have plenty of Jungle Cruise slides. TOO MANY. It’s always a bit of a bummer to acquire a lot of slides and discover that half of them are taken from a JC boat - not that I don’t love the ride, but all the pictures taken look much the same, no matter what era. What was the book you read, written by a skipper?

TokyoMagic!, I think it’s like people on L.A. freeways slowing down to look at a car crash. They just have to look! Now that you’ve noticed my “trapezoid strategy” I may have to change it.

Lou and Sue, ha ha; as if it’s not hard enough to think of something to say about some of these slides!

TokyoMagic!, I can use all those words, but there’s no guarantee that the sentences will make any sense!

Andrew, I’ve always thought that was a weird scene; it’s as if they couldn’t figure out a better way to show off so many beautifully sculpted animals. How about just have them around a watering hole? Or building a clubhouse (“No girls allowed” like in the “Our Gang” comedies”)?

stu29573, maybe if people took the time to understand Carl! I’ve seen a lot of “very special episodes” of TV shows, and Carl probably came from an abusive home. Where’s Tom Hanks when you need him?

Chuck, Life Day is in mid-November?!

MRaymond, zebras are the “red shirts” (as in Star Trek) of the animal kingdom. I think your ’55 Impala might have been taken down by a ’62 Jaguar XKE!Major Pepperidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843598326995116014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-68075882568134488212019-11-17T07:41:33.954-08:002019-11-17T07:41:33.954-08:00This displays the first law of the jungle; don'...This displays the first law of the jungle; don't be a zebra.

Hey, what happened to my 55 Impala?MRaymondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00352355678521753079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-83884140222309283482019-11-17T07:40:57.096-08:002019-11-17T07:40:57.096-08:00Happy Life Day, everybody!Happy Life Day, everybody!Chuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01836717368846566211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-91871014050291169682019-11-17T05:17:18.872-08:002019-11-17T05:17:18.872-08:00Acrually, there is a bit of backstory to the scene...Acrually, there is a bit of backstory to the scene that most people don't know. It goes like this; The zebra being eaten is Carl. Carl was always a jerk to all the other animals. I think we should challenge him to use "trapezoid," "orangutan," and "nosebleed" in one (same) sentence everyday til the end of the month.

Sue"Lou and Sue"https://www.blogger.com/profile/10832854372696376918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-39276693508440960812019-11-17T00:48:39.154-08:002019-11-17T00:48:39.154-08:00I never really thought about it, but it is a littl...I never really thought about it, but it is a little weird that the animals are all just standing around and watching the lions feast on a fellow creature. You'd think they'd all be running in the opposite direction, as fast as their little legs could take them.

This is the second post in a row, where you have used the word "trapezoid." Per the last JC Skipper spiel I heard.

Major, you really should post more JC pictures and add your spiel. There's no doubt that yours would be hilarious!

I know some of the junior gorillas were/are JC Skippers. I would love to hear what they said for this scene. :)

After reading a book written by a past JC Skipper earlier this year, I then searched the internet for more Skipper jokes and stories, and stumbled on a GDB JC picture. Major's funny commentary for that picture was what got me started and hooked on this blog.
