I get the feeling that she knew that men would be looking at her.

OC Native, that silvery gray-green is very olive tree-ish! I wonder if they produced fruit, which would have been a mess. Very interesting looking tree as they age. They get a very gnarled picturesque trunk that is something you would see in the Snow White attraction.

Most of them are gone now with expansion of the restaurant and the building of Thunder Mountain. The only one left I think is in the grassy area where the signs are for the Mark Twain.

As for the shapely young woman in the blue peddle pushers and white blouse. I was born about 15 years too late. I was only 6 years old in 1967. Now, twice in a 24 hour period…! And who are all those guys dressed alike, anyway?

I wish I had a "now and then" photo for comparison's sake, but can only assume that things look pretty different now. Somehow all those trees in picture #2 really are kind of amazing; it sure doesn't feel like any other amusement park that I can think of.

Alonzo, Grandpa is trying his best not to turn his head, but it ain't easy! And just think, Grandma might have been quite the hottie 60 years earlier…

dfan07, one thing that just occurred to me; all those trees, and I don't see ONE leaf on the ground! Trees require a lot of care, which equals $$$. Might as well remove them. One could argue that they block some prime photo scenes I suppose.Major Pepperidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843598326995116014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25922463.post-22582841659587983272012-04-24T08:34:31.763-07:002012-04-24T08:34:31.763-07:00I liked the foresty look of Frontierland better th...I liked the foresty look of Frontierland better than the desert landscaping it has now. From the forest and sailing ship masts of the backdrop to Pendleton store... Does it look that credible today?

Looks like members of The Association strolling into Frontierland...

As fer the 2nd pic, the photographer was clearly focused upon the um bougainvillea and forgot to zoom. Yeah. 's what it was. Not the young lady in the tight denim and short hair. But said gal best get a move on or lady on our left will set her to rights! Seriously, what an inviting setting that is.
